Demolition of the Patio & Staining the Concrete

We are so excited for our new patio! 

Our old patio was wonderful and lasted us a good 10 years.

Unfortunately, it got termites and we had to rip it down.

In a few weeks we will have an Alum-A-Wood Patio.

 It will be fully covered.

Staining the Concrete

 Now that that's done, we took a look at our patio and

 thought  it might be nice to stain the concrete. 

The previous owner's must have had a  pool sitting on the concrete

 because it made a white ring that we could never remove.

 The color we used is by Behr. It's called  Morrocan Dunes.

Ta Da!!
 It's a little darker then we wanted but with the hot sun
we know it will fade nicely.

Weekend in Pictures

We sure had a busy weekend! 

Friday was the Father Daughter Dance,

and the opening of Cam's Musical, Aesop's Foibles.

 I'm happily enjoying a quiet Sunday, catching up on pictures.

Father Daughter Dance

This is my daughter's last Father Daughter Dance as an 8th grader. Sniff!

Although my hubby missed spending it with both girls because of Cam's Musical,

I know he was blessed to have alone time with my oldest.

He LOVES his girls so much...

and that makes my heart smile.

Aesop's Foibles

Cam's Musical opened this weekend at the Chino Community Theatre.

She was the "Tortise" in the fable Tortise and Hare.

With a shell on her back, old woman's voice (hilarious), and an extremely slow walk,

she had the crowd in stitches.

The entire cast did an amazing job!

Demolition - Part One

Well, I'm happy to post that after 10 years of waiting,  we are getting a new master bathroom.

Our RED bathroom  (not sure what I was thinking 10 years ago) 

has always been a place that the hubby and I have talked about fixing. 

With two girls, a mortgage and the expenses of life, we have never been able to make this possible.

 Thank you to my Mom, who blessed each of my siblings with some "Home Improvement Funds," this past Christmas.

 Thankfully, this is all about to change...Thank you Mama, I love you!

 Two weeks of sharing one bathroom will be worth it in the end...
